EDF Energy, Sizewell B Power Station

British Energy delisted from the London Stock Exchange on 3 February 2009 and is now part of EDF Energy. The combination of EDF Energy and British Energy forms one of the UK’s largest energy companies.
The combined business is the UK’s biggest producer of electricity and together provides power to a quarter of the country’s population. We own and operate eight nuclear power stations with a combined capacity of almost 9,000 megawatts.
Sizewell B is a pressurised water reactor (PWR).
